BEN Seminar on Water and the People of Bangladesh on Sunday, 14 June 2009 in Sydney
1 June 2009
Dear Environmentalist,
Re: BEN Seminar on Water and the People of Bangladesh.
To observe the World Environment Day celebrated on 5 June every year, we are pleased to invite you to a community environment seminar organised by the Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN). This seminar will be held on Sunday, 14 June 2009 at the Bangladesh House, 65 Spurway St, Ermington NSW 2115.
As you know, BEN is a global network of Non Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) spread all over the world. Following the successful community environment event held on 1 November 2008, BEN’s Australian Chapter is organising this seminar to create awareness of the deteriorating environment of Bangladesh and its protection measures. BEN is particularly concerned about impacts of the climate change and predicted sea level rise on her environment and the people.
The seminar on
Water and the People of Bangladesh
will start at 2:30pm and finish at 5:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
We sincerely believe that
Bangladesh’s environment is everybody’s passion
; BEN only coordinates community environment initiatives.
