Update: Bangladeshi engineer died in road crash, wife and child injured
Dear community Members,
This is just an update to the community members that both baby and mum are improving. Our members are always with them to provide assistance. Dipa bhabi still under medication and we would like to allow sometime to discuss with her on burial matters. Both families in Bangladesh wish to take the dead body in Bangladesh.
We are informed by the Police that post mortem is expected to be done on Monday and all relevant certificates be available on Monday/Tuesday. I already in contact with Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra and they assured us to provide all sorts of support. They need fax copies of relevant certificates to complete the official formalities.
We just received properties left in the car from Gingin Police.
We are in touch with funeral companies. At this stage we are aiming to wash and pray janaja on Wednesday.
We are also exploring opportunities available to this young family in terms of various insurances (motor vehicle, Super etc) and any legal support. If any one have any ideas, please come forward and contact me, email: nm_sadat@yahoo.com or mobile 0430 968 269.
We are also working closely with the social worker in both hospital, police in major crash division and expecting to contact State Coroner office on Monday.

A Bangladeshi Engineer (BUET 90) has been died in a fatal road crash on brand highway, north of Perth Western Australia. S.M. Touhiduzzaman (39) was driving Toyota Camry while collide with a car traveling opposite direction. He died on the spot while his wife and 9 month old baby took to hospital by rescue chopper. His wife is in stable condition. The sudden demise of Engineer Touhid brought sadness in the Bangladeshi community living in perth , Australia. Bangladeshi high commission in Canberra has been notified by community leaders.
