Winter Pitha Mela hosted by Australia Bangladesh Association Inc Victoria

We are well and truly in the midst of frosty Melbourne winter! The preparation of our ‘Pitha Mela’ is going on swimmingly too. Friends – It’s just a follow-up of our earlier email on ABA hosted winter Pitha Mela, details of which are as under:
Date: 8th August (Saturday) 2015
Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Venue : Chandler Community Centre, Isaac Road, Keysborough, Melway # 89F6
The event will consist of:
# Array of stalls including
· finest collection of sweet/savoury pithas and various Bangladeshi cuisines representing rural/urban Bangladesh
· traditional Bangladeshi dresses, garments, boutiques and jewelleries
# Cultural performances including songs, chorus, dances and poetry recitation and activities for adults and children
