Fund Raising cultural evening in Canberra

Fund Raising cultural evening in Canberra

Bangladesh is being hit by a catastrophic flood which is becoming the worst humanitarian crises in years. The flood is thought to have killed at least 200 people and a third of the total land are submersed under water. It’s expected to be further hit as swollen Indian rivers flow down through it in the coming days. There are growing concerns about food shortages and diseases. In these dire straits we need to act fast and do something for our unfortunate people back in Bangladesh.

To show our solidarity, a few of us on behalf of the community have organised a cultural evening to raise funds for the flood affected people.

We fervently request everyone’s support for this humanitarian issue and look forward to seeing you on the evening. More details to follow, stay tuned.
