Pilgrimage of Faith Art Exhibition
Pilgrimage of Faith is the theme and presents a context for the ideas most often connected with pilgrimage.
The Canberra Islamic Centre will hold an art exhibition to coincide with the second major Muslim festival of Eid ul Adha.
The art exhibition features art works created specifically by young people of the Canberra region. Renowned artist Fatima Killeen has guided and inspired the participants and this exhibition has provided them an opportunity to apply their artistic abilities to the topic of pilgrimage. The official opening of the art exhibition will be held at 11.30 am and awards will be presented to the competition winners.
