Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children Day
Dear All,
Bangladesh High Commission, Canberra will organise the following programme for the observance of the 92nd Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children Day-2012 at the Hall Room of the High Commission.
Saturday, 17 March 2012
1700 hrs : Art/painting, recitation and speech competition for the children.
1800 to 1900 hrs : Discussion / Visual Presentation on the life of Bangabandhu and Prize distribution.
The format of the competitions will be the following:
Group 1: Children upto 10 years old
Group 2: Children from 11 to 16 years old
Children will be provided with papers for art/painting only.
After the competitions, winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in each group and each competition) will be awarded with attractive prizes.
Children are particularly encouraged to participate in the programme. Interested parents/guardians are kindly requested to contact the undersigned by 16 March 2012 and bring their children before 1700 hrs on 17 March 2012 at the Hall Room of the High Commission (57 Culgoa Circuit, O’Malley, ACT 2606).
