Ekushey February in Adelaide

Dear BASSA Members ,

We are very pleased to inform all of our members that Adelaide Bangla School that is run and manage by BASSA is going to celebrateEkushey February (International Mother Language day) at the School campus on 23 February , Sunday 2014 . All students , parents and members are cordially invited to attend this program . As well as we are requesting to participants , please come and wear very much familiar of Ekushey dresses.

Thanks to all and celebrate Ekushey, this Day has become a milestone in recognition of the right to speak, promote and preserve all mother languages across the world.

1. Walk through to Symbolic Shahid Minar and give your honor and respect with flowers those sacrificed their life 1952 for Language movement .

2. Program presented by Nighat Sultana and Asma bhabi .

3. Solo Ekushey dance by Eshiya .

4. Ekushey documentary presented by Aka and Asma Bhabi .

5. Quiz on Ekushey for Bangla school students .

6. Recitation by Bangla school Junior students .

7. Patriotic Solo song by Joyee karmakar .

8. Recitation by Bangla school Senior students .

9. Group song by Junior students.

10. Recitation by Asma bhabi and Mita Palit .

11. Duet Patriotic song by Ahom & Sajid .
