Australia Day Parade

Dear BASSA Members,

Just a quick reminder on the Australia Day Parade on Thursday, 26th January 2012. The parade will start at 6.00pm from the corner of Hindmarsh Square (Grenfell Street and Pulteney Street ) in the city. Our group will march behind Marshall – 7. So please arrive by 5pm on the western side of PULTENEY Street between FLINDERS and PIRIE streets. The parade organisers will supply water for participants at the start and end of the parade. After the parade finishes at Elder Park near Torrens river, there will be a free concert by famous artists followed by fireworks.

All BASSA Members are most welcome to participate this National event . Please try to wear colorful Bangladeshi National dress ( for boys panjabi or fotwa & girls sharee or salwar kamiz) as there is a prize for best costumes by the parade participants.

See you over there.

Thanks & regards –
