BEN Thanks to Volunteers: Clean Up Australia Day

BEN, Australia would like to thank the hardworking volunteers from Canberra’s Bangladesh Community who have made BEN’s Clean Up Australia Day event a successful one. BEN feels proud of these hardworking volunteers.

The volunteers, who were doing the Clean Up work at Tuggeranong Town Park between 11am and 1pm on 24 March 2012, were highly praised by the park users. BEN also has recognized the volunteers by presenting the Clean Up Australia Day certificate for their support to the BEN’s environmental initiatives in Australia. The certificate recipients are: Zillur Rahman, Shahadat Manik, Arara Kar, Moyazur Rahman, Kamal Ahmed, Ana Kamal, Sima Kar, Anamul Bhuiyan, Aurpan Kar, Sadman Ahmed, Irfan Ahmed, Ihsan Ahmed, Navid Bhuiyan, Tarik Zaman, Mansib Zaman, Rajdeep Das, Kamrul Ahsan Khan and Ajoy Kar.

BEN believes that the success of BEN’s environmental initiatives, such as Clean Up Australia Day, would not be possible without the active participation of members of the Community. This successful event proves that BEN with the Bangladesh Community and its friends around the world can make the Earth a cleaner and greener place to live for future generations.

BEN looks forward to working with the Community in the upcoming events.
