Kobita O Sheeter Pitha Utsob : Thanks and Apologies
Respected Community Members,
PriyoAustralia.com.au wishes to thank everyone who came to participate in this year’s “Kobita O Sheeter Pitha Utshob”, especially those of you who took the time to make all the delightfully yummy pithas for everyone to enjoy.
Our sincere apologies for the lack of space for everyone to sit comfortably during the poetry recitations and musical performances for we truly underestimated the number of participants this year and the legendary Bangladeshi spirit of hospitality and their eagerness to share their culinary creations with other members of the community.
In this regard we are already considering plans to make the collection and distribution of the food items in a more organised and time-appropriate manner in the future years; perhaps after a period of time in display with a brief description of the Pitha and the identity of the maker of that particular item.
We would also do our best to organise a venue for next year’s “Kobita O Sheeter Pitha Utshob” where all the attendees can be comfortably accommodated.
We are both delighted and humbled by the ever increasing popularity of this event exemplified by the increasing number of people attending and more people contributing their Pitahs each year.
