Muslim big festival Eid – al – Fitr 08 celebrated by south Australian government at south Australian parliament house in Adelaide last Friday , 3rd of October 08 at 6 .00 pm . Government invited all Muslim ethnic group and society leaders from South Australia. Bangladesh Australian society of South Australia (BASSA) invited that reception celebration; BASSA leaders represent the Bangladeshi community in South Australia ; Four BASSA members joined from Bangladeshi community in south Australia – Dr. Saiful islam (president of BASSA), Dr. Mahabubur rahman ( vice president of BASSA ) , Dr Rafiqul islam ( treasurer of BASSA ) , Mr . Arshad hussain bhuiyan (honorable member of BASSA).
Minister of multicultural affairs, minister of road and safety, head of the multicultural department and other parliament members gave to warm reception to all guests. Finally government served various cultural halal foods for all guests.
