BASSA Celebrated Pohela Boishakh in Adelaide

The Bangladesh Australia Society of South Australia (BASSA), first Bangladeshi community organisation in Australia, established in 1984, celebrated Pohela Boishakh 1425 on 28th April Saturday, 2018 at Beefacres Community Hall, Adelaide, South Australia. There were huge participation: Honorable Asst. Minister Ms Carolyn Habib along with many distinguished guests presented, food were Delicious, there were varieties of Bangladeshi food and sweats, and Biriyani packets were free for all. The Society’s President Dr Anoara Islam, VP Dr Younus, Secretary Dr Shahid Ullah and Principal of Bangla School Dr Rafiqul Islam delivered their speeches. The members of program committee and Executive Committee put lots of effort to make the event successful. Mr Sukhen Karmakar and Rabeya Begum coordinated the whole program.
