Appeal for Donations
The BADRC is a registered charity established in 1998. Since its establishment it has been raising funds and helping disadvantaged as well as some of the millions affected by natural disasters in Bangladesh and Australia.
BADRC has recently completed a School-cum-Cyclone Shelter in a SIDR affected area in Bangladesh. This shelter is now being used as primary school. BADRC is committed to provide fund for running of the school.
It has also established a scholarship fund to provide scholarships to the children of the families displaced by the Jamuna river erosion in Char Khabulia, Sonatola Upazila, District Bogra, Bangladesh.
The management of BADRC is now seeking help from the community members in the form of donations for the above two ongoing projects as well as for future projects so that we together can create better futures for some of the disadvantaged millions.

Past Activities
1999: Raised and paid $ 32000.00 ($ thirty two thousand) to the Australian Red Cross to support the 1998 flood victims in Bangladesh
2002: Raised and funded relief activities in Bangladesh and Australia. Apart from relief activities in Bangladesh contributed more than $ 7000.00 ($ seven thousand) for the flood victims in the Australian countryside.
2004: Raised $ 25000.00 ($ twenty five thousand) and given to the Bangladesh Prime Minister’s Relief fund through Caritas Australia.
2013: BADRC has contributed an amount of BDT 3,39.865.50 (Taka three lac thirty nine thousand eight hundred sixty five and paisa fifty) for the treatment and welfare support of the victims of the Rana Plaza disaster through the Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies (BILS).
BADRC is genuinely interested in undertaking further charity and community development projects and programs in Australia and Bangladesh. Your support is highly solicited and greatly appreciated.
