Australia Day Annual Blood Donation Program

Australian Forum for Minorities in Bangladesh Inc. (AFMB) is non-profit organisation and is organising its annual blood donation program at the following venue and time. You, your family and friends are cordially invited to donate blood and celebrate Australia Day.

Date and Time: 18th January, 2014

Saturday (9:30am til 1:30pm)

Venue: Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

50, Macquarie St. Liverpool, NSW, 2170.

N.B: The blood bank is 7 minutes walking distance from Liverpool train station, opposite Westfield shopping centre. Available free parking on 50, Macquarie st. Speed Street, River park drive and Light Horse Park area.

Booking is essential, so please contact any of the following organisers before January 15, 2014 and register your interest.

The event will be followed by lunch and a community get-together where several elected representatives will present the certificates to the blood donors.

Dear all Namosker and a very happy new year 2014. I hope you all are well by the grace of almighty God. Once again, on behalf of Australian Forum for Minorities in Bangladesh (AFMB) Inc., I would like to wish you the whole year would be filled with blessings and love of God upon you.
AFMB is a non-profit organisation in Australia. It has been extended its helping hand to both countries (Bangladesh and Australia) over the last ten years in many ways. Likewise, the organization (Forum) is organising its yearly blood donation program in Liverpool this year. On behalf of AFMB I would like to invite you, your family and friends to come and join with us to give blood. Please remember that you can save at least three people lives by one episode of blood donation. So, please come forward to give your blood and save lives.
You can donate the blood if you feel healthy and well, aged 16 to 70, weigh over 45kg and able to meet other eligibility guidelines ( take the quick online quiz).
On the day of the appointment, you should:
· drink at least 3 glasses of water/juice in the 3 hours before donating
· eat a healthy meal and snack
· bring along photo ID (such as driver’s licence) or blood donor card
· smile – you’re making a huge difference to your community
The booking is essential. Also there are some forms to be filled in return them prior to the appointment date such as,

B.) Enrolment Form NSW-ACT 2013 and Group Blood Donation Form- by Australian forum of minorities in Bangladesh.

11.00am x 5 donors
12.00pm x 5 donors
1.30pm x 5 donors
