Official acknowledgement of community volunteering

Official acknowledgement of community volunteering

It is with great excitement that I inform you the official acknowledgement by the NSW Government of the community volunteering that Mr Nirmal Paul has been providing. Attached is the Certificate of Acknowledgement that was given to Mr Paul.

Although it is not mentioned in the Certificate, the acknowledgement was in recognition of the volunteering in the following key areas:
1. The dedication, sacrifice and contributions to the Mother Language movement, especially the leadership during the establishment of the world’s first International Mother Language Day Monument at Ashfield Park;
2. Mr Nirmal Paul’s hard work and the sincere feelings and contribution for the multicultural NSW as well as the sincere support rendered to the Organising Committee that makes the Deepavali Festivals at the NSW Parliament House so successful and iconic;
3. It is due to his dynamic leadership that the Bangladesh Society for Puja & Culture Inc now grows and serves the community since it’s inception, particularly the leadership at this crisis period of BSPC; and
4. To fulfil his vision and sincere commitments for all linguistic people Mr Paul has founded an organisation named Mother Languages Conservation Movement International Inc for generating a motivated movement to protect and conserve mother languages under threat of extinction.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Swapan Paul
