Professional Achievement: Paramesh Bhattacharya

It is a great pleasure to announce that BSPC’s active financial member Mr Paramesh Bhattacharya has been awarded the Celebrate Award of Mission Australia NSW for 2009 for his exceptional contribution in the area of Compassion, Integrity, Respect and Perseverance. The ‘Celebrate Award’ of Mission Australia is designed to
acknowledge the employee’s demonstrated contribution above and beyond the Mission Australia’s organisational values. Mr Bhattacharya is a very well known community worker mainly among the Bangladeshi community in Sydney, and has been serving the Bangladesh Society for Puja and Culture (BSPC) since 1998, and is one of the most suceessful General Secretaries of BSPC.

Mr Bhattacharya born in 1961 in Kishoreganj, was serving as a Senior Scientific Officer with an additional charge of Regional Project of Bangladsh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) in Joydebpur before immigrating to Australia in mid 1998. He lives in Sydney with his wife, one daughter and one son.

On behalf of the Bangladesh Society for Puja and Culture Inc. we congratulate Mr Bhattacharya for his extraordinary contribution to the mainstream Australian society, and for his organisational regongnition and Celebrate Award achievement.
