Ekushey Radio – ACT Language Motion
The radio program that captured an interview with Hon. Alistair Coe, and a community discussion between Bangladeshi Community Leaders and Bangladesh High Commissioner at Bangladesh Embassy about the Canberra Liberals’ Motion which was passed unanimously by ACT Legislative Assembly on 13 September 2017.
Mr. Coe, in his interview with Ekushey Radio, informed that ACT library service will be promoting international mother language day and ACT Government will work towards getting a monument which is the fitting of a multicultural community.
In an open discussion with the community leaders at his office, H.E. Kazi Imtiaz Hossain told Liberals candidate Ignatius Rozario to convey his (HC) thanks and gratitude to Mr Coe for his leadership in moving this motion and expressed his desire to be called to the assembly to receive the final (signed) motion. Conveying his own pride and pleasure for the success of the motion, H.E. Hossain asks Nirmal Paul and others of the MLC Movement to carry forward the campaign to other States’ Assembly to sustain this success.
