Fundraising Dinner donation amount: Thanks from BAAC EC 2013-14
Dear Community Members,
BAAC is proud of the Bangladeshi Canberra community for overwhelming responses and the active donation through participating in the Fundraising dinner for this important cause. BAAC also extend sincere thanks to the sponsors for their generous financial supports to organise the event.
With your overwhelming support, donation, sponsorship and Executive Committee members active fund raising effort, we are pleased to inform you that BAAC is donating $6000 (six thousand dollars) to “Fred Hollows Foundation” and $500 (five hundred dollars) to “Lets Work for Bangladesh (Canberra-Bangladesh Friendship School at Bhola)”.
BAAC is very proud and pleased to take part in this worthy cause and thankful to the Bangladeshi and other community members for their support in transforming the lives of those who are needlessly blind and to improve the life of disadvantaged Bangladeshi people including children.
To continue the BAAC activities for next year, Bangladeshi community members active participation and support is very much needed for a transition to a new BAAC Executive Committee 2014-15. We look forward to see you all at the upcoming AGM on SUNDAY 13 of July 2014.
