Bangladesh Medical Society of NSW (BMS) General Meeting on Sunday 1st August 2010 at Sydney Olympic Park
Dear all Bangladeshi doctors/medical students in NSW,
We have been trying for some time to form an organization which will work as a benevolent organization for the interest of the doctors, medical students and Bangladeshi community. A convening committee was formed recently. Now we are embarking on a plan to form a registered organization with elected body. Our collective responsibility to our community is long overdue. The convening committee has been given responsibility to arrange a general meeting and an election commissioner was also selected to hold general election for the following posts.
1) President
2) Vice-President 1 and 2
3) Honorary Secretary
4) Joint Secretary 1 and 2
5) Honorary Treasurer
6) Public relations Officer
7) Representative member from medical students
8) Representative member from junior doctors
10) Representative members from AMC examinee – two in number
11) General members – five in numbers , each from five arbitrary region of NSW ;
Venue : Waterview Restaurant, Bicentinneal Park in Sydney Olympic Park
Date 1st August 2010, Sunday
Time 10 AM – 12PM – Speech on medical issues
12.30-2Pm – Lunch ( Fee $ 25/person ; $ 50/family ( 2 or more )
2 PM – 3 PM – General meeting ( all attendees must be paid members )
3 PM – 3.30 PM – Tea Break
3.30 PM – 4.00 PM – General election
4.00 Pm – 5 PM – Discussion
