BEN Annual Fundraising Event is Underway
The 2013 annual fundraising of BEN is underway. BEN is a self-reliant organization. It is BEN’s principled position not to accept funds from the government or any donor organization. For its finance, BEN relies entirely on its members. For this purpose, BEN conducts fundraising once a year and appeals to all its members and supporters to participate in it.
The money raised by BEN is sent to Bangladesh to support the environment movement there. BEN is an organization-member of Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA), and as such contributes to BAPA’s financing. BEN’s financial contribution is an important reason why BAPA can function as an independent citizens’ organization in Bangladesh.

BEN is registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under Section 503 (c) as an organization working for protection of environment. Contributions to BEN are therefore tax deductible. BEN’s EIN number is 58-2454949.
