Back to homepageYou have operating system XP-SP2 but can’t see the bangla fonts (square box disply) here is the possible solution:
Find the original XP operating system CD/DVD and insert in CD/DVD drive.
On your desktop click on Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > click on Languages > tick or check “Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)” > click Apply (and make sure you have the Windows XP original install CD/DVD in the drive of your computer) > OK.
If you misplaced your windows XP cd you need Complex Script Installer. Click here to download Complex Script Installer 2.0.0 (From Omicronlab) and install.

You are now done, your system is ready to display Bangla Unicode fonts. Congratulations!
We use unicode/Phonetic SolaimanLipi as our Bangla font.

Install or uninstall fonts
Applies to all editions of Windows Vista.
Windows comes with a variety of fonts already installed.
If you want to install additional fonts, you must first download them. You can download fonts from a software program, the Internet, or your organization’s network.
NoteBefore you download a font, make sure you trust the source.
To install a font
1. Open Fonts by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Fonts.
2. Click File, and then click Install New Font.
If you don’t see the File menu, press ALT.
3. In the Add Fonts dialog box, under Drives, click the drive where the font that you want to install is located.
4. Under Folders, double-click the folder containing the fonts that you want to add.
5. Under List of fonts, click the font that you want to add, and then click Install.
To uninstall a font
1. Open Fonts by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Fonts.
2. Click the font that you want to uninstall. To select more than one font at a time, press and hold down CTRL while you click each font.
3. On the File menu, click Delete.
If you don’t see the File menu, press ALT.
Installing Fonts for Win 95/98
Download the font into a folder or desktop on your computer.
Fonts are often downloaded in zip files so you need to unzip the file with Winzip
Go to the Start Menu, choose Settings then Control Panel.
Open the Fonts folder.
Under the File menu select “Install New Font.”
A new window opens then find the folder with your font in and click OK.
Installing Fonts for Windows XP
Download the font into a folder or desktop on your computer.
Use Winzip to extract the font from the file.
Extract the font into c:windowsfonts
Go to the Start Menu, choose Control Panel.
Double click the Fonts folder.
Save the font to c:windowsfonts
Go to the Start Menu, choose Control Panel.
Double click the Fonts folder.
