Election of JHAAA Committee for the year 2018-19

Jagannath Hall Alumni Association Australia (JHAAA) held its First Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 11 August 2018 at the Toongabbie Community Centre, Toongabbie, NSW 2146 Australia.

The first Committee (for one year) of the Association was elected at the AGM by the members present. The elected Committee members are:

Vice President : Mr Kazal Roy
Secretary : Mr Amal Datta
Treasurer : Mr Topon Kanti Dhar
Members : Mr Nirmal Chowdhury
Mr Proshanta Saha
Mr Dibakor Mozumder
Mr Surajit Roy
Mr Bishwajit Chakravartee

JHAAA is established to create an extensive network amongst all JH alumni, current JH students and other Alumni groups of Dhaka University. We are working together to help advancing education by extending assistance to students with special talents but need support. JHAAA will also act as a platform for matters of its interest including promotion and protection of human rights, and cooperation with other organisations professing similar objectives.
