Dear Respected Community Members

In observance of International Mothers Language Day 2015 Victorian Bangladeshi Community Foundation (VBCF) in conjunction with Western Region Bengali School (WRBS) has organized “Ekushey Mela” to pass the knowledge and importance of “Ekushey February” to the second generation Bangladeshi Australian citizen. A day-long event has been scheduled for this occasion as follows:

Date : 22^nd February 2015
Time : 10am—–7pm
Venue: Glen Orden Sports Club
53-57 Kookaburra Avenue,

* Ekushey Provat Feri (Ekushey Rally)
* Laying floral wreath on temporary martyr monument (Shahid Minar)
* Drawing Competition for the Kids in the spirit of Intl Language Day
* The opening match of International Mothers Language Day T20 Cricket Tournament.
* Array of Stalls including:
* Finest collection of sweets/savoury snacks and various Bangladeshi cuisines.
* Traditional Bangladeshi dresses, garments, Boutiques and Jewellery.
