Dear All,
Like every year the following suggestions put forward by the thoughtful and innovative “priyoaustralia.com.au” Team for 2011 “Kobita O Sheeter Pitha Utshab”.
1. We expect the majority of the participants would be enjoying the evening, sitting warm and snug on the ground but there will be a limited number of chairs available during the event for those who are unable to sit on the ground for medical reasons.
2. Please feel free to bring along your favourite cushion, baalish or any other piece of soft furnishing to sit on or to lean onto (not too big of course!!) and a comfortable shawl or a kaatha to wrap around yourselves in and enjoy the poetry in a warm and homely setting.
3. A good supply of hot water and a regular brand of blended tea will be provided but if you would like to bring along your own favourite brand of brew, please feel free to do so and make your own with the hot water provided.
4. Considering the shortness of daylight during our Canberra winter, we would endeavour to start right on schedule; please try and be on time or else you might miss some of the good fun.
See you all on 30th of July 2011 at 4.00 pm sharp (why we need to say sharp? it is on 4pm!).
