ISRA Youth College – Enrolments Close Soon
Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parent,
With the re-commencement of ISRA Youth College in two weeks, can you please advise whether your child(ren) will be continuing in 2014 in sha Allah. Can you please email me at heather@isra.org.au or phone 9649 9040 to advise. This will assist in preparing class lists.
We look forward to this year, seeing the development of all the students as they grow in Islamic knowledge, identity, personal growth and development, in sha Allah.
As in past years, Youth College will be offering school holiday activities for students in each school holiday period. We will notify you of these activities closer to the end of each term in sha Allah. These activities will either be free of charge or will be subsidised by ISRA. Camps may incur a larger fee.
Term Dates 2014
Term 1: 1st February to 6th April
Term 2: 3rd May to 22nd June
Term 3: 19th July to 14th September – No classes 2nd/3rd August due to Eid
Term 4: 11th October to 14th December
Class Times
Girls: Saturdays 10am to 1:30pm
Boys: Sundays 10am to 1pm (every second week the finish time is 2pm)
Exams/Assessments
Exams for each subject are held in the last week of EVERY term and students should prepare accordingly. On a rare occasion exams may be held on the second-last week of term.
Assessments vary for each subject and will be provided by each teacher in class.
Report Cards
Reports will be sent bi-annually notifying you of your child(ren)’s marks and progress for each subject.
Student Absences
Please notify ISRA Youth College if your child(ren) is/are going to be absent from class or running late by calling 9649 9040 or emailing info@isra.org.au
Fees
Fees remain the same as in previous years, listed in the table below. Please note that there is a reduction in price for enrolment of your child(ren) for the full year and also for enrolment of more than one of your children. The one-off annual fee must be paid by 10th March 2012 to receive this reduction in price. Term-by-term fees are due at the end of the fifth week of each term.
