2014 Ramadan Iftar and Kids Quran Competition
Assalamu Alaikum. Alhamdulillah, Islamic Practice Association Canberra (IPAC) is going to organise Kids Quran Recitation Competition, Ramadan Lecture and Iftar programs on the first three Sundays at Spence Musalla, 55 Crofts Crescent, Spence, ACT 2615.
1st Sunday, 29th June 2014, 3pm – 4pm
Registration for Kids Quran and Essay Competition: Registration fee: $5 (for each kid)
Venue: Spence Musalla, 55 Crofts Crescent, Spence
Printed list of Surahs will be distributed to the kids those who did not get it earlier
Lecture (4 to 5pm): Significance of Ramadan. Speaker: Br Sheikh Nuruddin
2nd Sunday, 6th July, 2014, 3:00 pm
Group A (Grade 1 to 3) Competition
Any two of the following Surahs

Group B (Grade 4 to 8) Competition

Group C: (Grade 6 to 12) Essay Competition on “Duties and Responsibilities to our parents” Maximum length 2000 words and is due on 13th of July 2014 before Maghreeb Prayer.
Lecture (4:15pm to 5pm): Speaker: Dr Kamran Shafi, Topic: TBA
Results will be announced in the 4th Sunday 20th of July 2014 at the same venue after Maghreeb Prayer. Time and date of Prize giving ceremony and Eid Reunion will be announced at the same time Ins-Sha-Allah. First three places from each category will be given attractive gifts and generous gifts will be given to all participants.
