$3.50 a week, the price of a coffee, buys education for 5 children at a CO-ID school
To us, a stroll to the local café for a cup of coffee is something we enjoy once or twice a day in Australia. To a child on Bhola Island in Bangladesh, the $3.50 you pay for it can mean the difference between learning or losing out on life.
Donate to CO-ID
Please help us out. You know we run a tight ship, that’s why almost 99% of money raised goes to building schools and paying local staff salaries. Our expenses are rising, but we are still stretching every dollar as far as it can go. Donate online.
A cause for celebration, Fred’s 90th Birthday
Typically low-key for the first 89 years or so of his life, we thought the 90th year should be something special. We held a surprise party for CO-ID’s founder, Fred Hyde, on 23rd April, complete with a spectacular chocolate cake. As Fred pointed out, the only birthday cake he might have been able to enjoy in the last thirty years in Bangladesh would have been a mud cake, made literally from mud. Read more about the celebrations to come.
Fred is planning to return to Bangladesh to keep up the good work with CO-ID. There’s no slowing him down!
Please help us continue the vision of educating boys and girls and giving them a better chance to get ahead. Your donation, no matter the amount, is always welcome.
Best regards
The CO-ID Team
