Dual Citizenship: Clarification
In view of some news items, published in a section of print media in Bangladesh, this is to inform all concerned that Bangladeshi citizens who acquire citizenship of Australia and New Zealand, do not require to renounce their Bangladeshi citizenship. As per the provisions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Bangladesh, they remain citizens of Bangladesh and do not require any dual citizenship certificate.
