Udichi’r Shuborno Joyonti – Shampa Barua with Kamrul Ahsan Khan
Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigosthi is a leading progressive cultural organization in Bangladesh. The organisation’s goal is the struggle to build what it deems a just, free, and equal society. Udichi started its journey on October 29 in 1968 and has contributed much to the cultural movement of the country during its 50-year journey. It was organised by revolutionary novelists Satyen Sen, Ranesh Das Gupta along with numerous youths in 1968.
Kamrul Ahsan khan is one of the founder member of this reputed organization. On the eve of the golden jubilee celebration of Udichi, Kamrul Ahsan Khan shared his experiences and expectations with PriyoVision.
উদীচী শিল্পীগোষ্ঠী বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তম সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠন। ১৯৬৮ সালে বিপ্লবী কথাশিল্পী সত্যেন সেন, রণেশ দাশগুপ্ত, সহ একঝাঁক তরুণ উদীচী গঠন করেন। জন্মলগ্ন থেকে উদীচী অধিকার, স্বাধীনতা ও সাম্যের সমাজ নির্মাণের সংগ্রাম করে আসছে। উদীচী ’৬৮, ’৬৯, ’৭০, ’৭১, সালে বাঙালির সার্বিক মুক্তির চেতনাকে ধারণ করে গড়ে তোলে সাংস্কৃতিক সংগ্রাম। এ সংগ্রাম গ্রাম-বাংলার পথে-ঘাটে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
জনাব কামরুল আহ্সান খান উদীচীর একজন প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সদস্য। উদীচীর সুবর্ণ জয়ন্তীর প্রাক্কালে কামরুল আহ্সান খান প্রিয় ভিশনের সাথে এক সাক্ষাৎকারে উদীচীর সাথে দীর্ঘ পথচলার অভিজ্ঞতা আর প্রত্যাশার কথা তুলে ধরেন।
