Eid Greetings from Brother Abul Ehsan
Bismillaah Walhamdulillaah Wassalaatu Wassalaamu A’ala Rasoolillaah
My Dearest Brothers and Sisters-in-Faith
Assalaamu Alaikum WaRahmatullaahi WaBarakaatuh
All Praises are due to Allaah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’Ala – the Lord of all the Worlds – May He (Allaah) be Glorified and Exalted. And Peace and Blessings of Allaah’s be upon His Chosen Slave, His Selected Messenger and the Most Beloved of all His Creations- Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Allaahu Akbar! Allaahu Akbar! Allaahu Akbar! Laa Ilaaha Illallaahu Wa Allaahu Akbar! Alaahu Akbar Wa Lillaahil Hamd!
With my deepest and most humbled ‘submission’ to Almighty Allaah and with all my heart, I beg our Lord Allaah the ‘As-Salaam’ Who is the source of all peace to keep you peace and tranquility.
On this Great day of Islaamic Celebration, I wish to send my humble ‘Eid Greetings’ to all my dear beloved Brothers and Sisters in Islaam. ‘Eid Mubaarak’!. On this Blessed Day’’, I also say to you, “Taqabbal’Allaahu Minna Wa Minkum”. May Allaah Accept our ‘Eebaadah’ from us and from you.” Indeed in the era of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the first Muslims congratulated one another on the ‘Eid day with the prayer, “May Allaah Accept this from us and from you”. This was inspired from the Prophet’s (pbuh) saying “Allaah, Accept this from Muhammad, from Muhammad’s family and from Muhammad’s community!”
Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) told us that Almighty Allaah has Granted us two blessed ‘Eids -the ‘Eid ul Fitr’ and the ‘Eid al Adha’. He (pbuh) instructed us to spend these days happily, visiting one another, celebrating the ‘Eid together, eating together and enjoying ourselves in legitimate ways. Prophet (pbuh) declared that the ‘Eids’ are the days of peace, happiness and joy, desired that those days be celebrated with many people and great joy.
On this Blessed Day, I also beg most sincerely to Allaah the ‘Al-Kareem’ to Accept our ‘Qiyaam’, our ‘Siyaam’, our ‘Ruku’, our ‘Sujood’, our ‘Tilawaat’ and all our other acts of ‘Eebaadah’ during the period of Ramadaan and afterwards.
May Allaah the ‘An-Noor’ Fill our hearts, our minds and our faces with ‘Noor’. I also beg our Lord Allaah the ‘Al-Afuw’ again and again to Forgive us as Allaah is the One who Loves to Forgive.
Wassalaamu Alaikum
