To: Dear Friends: I am delighted to share news about the opening of our Zaki Hossain Center for Hypertension Diabetes and Vascular Disease at Nassau University Medical Center, advancing the care of Nassau County residents, particularly the medically underserved and uninsured who suffer from the intertwined epidemics of these ailments. A combination of outreach, education and clinical care will greatly benefit out-patients who suffer from these metabolic conditions by complete and timely access to clinical services and prevention care program, with NUMC’s Institute for Healthcare Disparities as a significant partner.
