Dear Friends,
The 15th August is one of the most gruesome days in the political history of Bangladesh. On this day in 1975, the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was assassinated along with most of his family members by a group of misguided army officials. The nation has since been commemorating the 15th August as National Mourning Day of Bangladesh.
You are cordially invited to a discussion to observe the day in a solemn and thoughtful manner.
The discussion will include topical issues and an open forum with a theme entitled “Bangabandhu, the greatest Bengali of all time: his life, vision and work”.
We look forward to seeing you all at the venue.
