The Home Minister of Bangladesh's visit to Sydney

The Home Minister of Bangladesh Adv. Sahara Khatun and her team has arrived in Sydney at 4.50 pm on Sunday. She was greeted by the High Commissioner of Bangladesh Lt. Gen. Masud Uddin Chowdhury. The Awami League President Sirajul Hoque, General Secretary P.S Chunnu, Jubo League Secretary Noman Shamim was there with a number of supporters and activists to greet her.

A reception will be held on Monday in Sydney in her honour. On Tuesday she will inaugurate the Machine Readable Passport facility in the Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra in front of huge delegates. This is first such machine is to be installed to facilitate a long waited service for the Migrated Bangladeshis. This has caused a wide spread appreciation by the Bangladesh Community in Australia.
