CIC Ramadan events update

During Ramadan, Tarraweeh prayers are held every evening from 7.30pm at CIC led by Imam Adam Konda.

The CIC tradition of weekly Iftaar dinners will insha’Allah continue this Ramadan, all are welcome. Due to the CIC car park concreting work being completed this week, our first Saturday Iftaar will not be possible on Saturday 5 July. But we will insha’Allah hold Iftaar events from the following Saturday 12 July.

You are requested to arrive by 4.45pm so that you are able to park and be seated before the breaking of the fast. The program is as follows:

Sat 12 July – African/ Mediterranean Community

Sat 19 July – Bangladesh Community

Sat 26 July – Pakistan Community

This Ramadan you have the opportunity to earn even further rewards insha’Allah when you donate for the construction of the Masjid each week during the weekly Saturday Iftaars dinners. The masjid construction is progressing well but funds are needed urgently for the second stage of construction.

On the last Saturday of Ramadan (26 July), an Eid market (Chaan Raat) will be held in preparation for the upcoming Eid Ul Fitr marking the end of Ramadan. This year this event will be held from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in the CIC courtyard, followed by the breaking of the fast. Stall holders will be able to book stalls and all are welcome. Further details and stall holder registration forms will be available soon.
