Audition for Salt Bridge movie

Date: Sunday 1 December 2013
Place: Canberra (venue to be announced)

We are looking for a number of actors of sub–continental appearance in the following age groups:

• 2-5 years (1 male and 3 females)

• 10-15 years (2 males and 1 female)

• 25-45 years (6 males and 6 females; 1 each for Hindi-speaking roles)

• 55-70 years (3 males and 1 female)

Please note that:

• Each applicant will be required to audition 2 pieces of 2 minutes each:

• • 1 prescribed piece (will be provided a week before the audition) and

  • 1 piece of own choice

• No reading from any material will be allowed during audition

• Applicants will be videoed during audition

• A photo and CV describing any previous experience in acting will help

• Shortlisted actors may need to come for a second audition at a later date

• All arrangements to attend auditions are applicant’s own responsibility

• Selection of actors will be based purely on role suitability

• Successful candidates must be available for shooting (and rehearsal) in and around Sydney and Canberra around April 2014

• Language is no barrier, though knowledge of Bengali will help
