Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman posted an easy par-putt on the final hole to claim his second Asian Tour title in the Hero Indian Open after his closest competitor SSP Chowrasia missed the birdie at a breath-taking Delhi Golf Club today.
Siddikur who was four shot ahead of Chowrasia at starting of the final day and had only two bogeys on the opening three days, experienced a very bad teeing on the final round where he hit five bogeys and a triple-bogey along with five birdies.
The 2010 Brunei Open winner were lost his solo lead for the first time after opening round when he played a bogey on the 16th hole at the US$1.25 million Asian Tour event.
Indian duo Anirban Lahiri and Chowrasia took the joint second spots with 13-under-par after Siddikur completed his fourth round with a three-over-par 75 for a total of 14-under-par 274 at the golden-jubilee event of the Indian Open.
