Dear Respected Parents & Community Members

The Government of Bangladesh has taken a decision to organize a program on 26 March 2014 at the National Parade Ground in Dhaka for performing the National anthem of Bangladesh with participation of people en masse to commemorate the Independence and National Day 2014. The Government intends to include the event in the Guinness Book of World Records. Bangladesh High Commission, Canberra sincerely requested all respected Bangladeshi community members living in Australia to voluntarily organize performance of National Anthem on 26 March 2014.

On behalf of Melbourne Bangladeshi community, Western Region Bangla School (WRBS) requests all respective parents and community members to attend the National Anthem and Bangladeshi Flag raising events at Federation Square on Wednesday, 26 March at 5:30 PM and upholding the national spirit and patriotism for our motherland.

The Federation Square Authority would hoist the flag of Bangladesh at the flagpoles of Federation Square to express solidarity with us. We are requesting everyone to join the program with Bangladeshi flags and Bangladeshi pride.
